The Magic of ADHD Through Iris’s Eyes
ADHD may seem like a problem, but in reality it gives unique superpowers: creativity and imagination turn anxiety into play and every mistake into a chance for new solutions. Iris learns that effort and joy in the moment matter more than perfection.

The test returned to my hands, and it was as if it were looking at me saying, "Good luck, my girl."
Black scribbles everywhere, like tiny explosions of panic. One correct exercise, one half-finished, and four that
look like they were erased from the map.
Dad asked me:
“How did the test go, Iris?”
I wanted to tell him about the bird outside the window, the clouds that stole my thoughts, the gift I forgot, and
the phantom exercise I never saw. But I only said:
“Good… I guess… good enough…”
On the way home, I looked at the clouds. Suddenly they looked like ice cream, dragons, or giant musical notes. I thought that maybe my ADHD isn’t a weakness after all — it’s like having a sort of superpower… seeing strange things instead of just clouds and numbers.
The black bird returned to the window. It chirps, spins around, as if saying: “Now, find the solutions!” And I
realized something: Maybe I don’t have to do everything perfectly. It’s enough to try my best, laugh at my
scribbles… and enjoy the moment. I can have fun with the chaos and find solutions in my own way.
Life with ADHD is a bit like dancing with f(x)f(x)f(x) — it constantly slips out of your hands, but at least it’s
never boring.
